What is the Torrance Artists Guild?
The Torrance Artists Guild (TAG) is a nonprofit fine arts organization
that
recognizes all mediums of paintings, etchings, and photography.
It was formed to
cultivate the making of art and to promote art awareness
in
the South Bay community of Los Angeles County.
TAG is part of the So Bay Focus Show every November which will
is run by
Southbay Watercolor Society (SBWS) and TAG
and is hosted and managed by the Torrance Art Museum.
TAG holds monthly meetings. After a brief review
of the organization's
business, a presentation is
made to the group by a guest speaker or an artist
who gives a demonstration of an art technique.
Admission to the Torrance Artists Guild meeting are free.
Membership in the group is $25 for an
individual
or $35 for a member and spouse.
